Introduction To Shaking Yoga
Healing through movement, mantra meditation, laughter, sharing and caring
Free yourself and make soul your own true leader!
If you are new to Ratu Bagus Shaking Yoga we encourage you to learn more about it and give it a chance. You will not regret. Shaking Yoga involves shaking the body for prolonged time to the rhythm of dynamic music or in silence, while emptying the mind of negativity and mental noise through increased vibration and the repetition of mantra.
Newcomers usually start slowly, with shorter sessions and gradually building up till they feel comfortable and stable enough to step up into higher vibration. Whole process of healing and inner transformation happens in stages and is directed by yourself. Support and guidance are offered if people struggle on the way. With every step another layer of the mind is unveiled and another opportunity to heal on a yet deeper level presents itself.
Despite its apparently outward simplicity, shaking can be a very revealing and a deep experience as well as ‘miraculous’ in terms of healing the body and clearing the mind. Words can go only as far to describe it. ‘Just do it’ attitude and persistence is the key to success and wider understanding, which comes in time.
Shaking Yoga practice was brought to the world by Ratu Bagus, an energy master from Bali, who dedicated his entire life to helping people. Shaking Yoga is all about self-healing through vibration and achieving freedom from the limits of the mind and ego. It promotes deepening receptivity, introspection and connecting with all-pervading energy (chi). In our own experience since 2008, we see that prolonged practice generates higher energy, inner heat and quickens pranic light in the body, ‘burning through the blocks’ with the precision and power comparable to a laser.
Shaking is a VIBRATION itself. Laughter is a VIBRATION too. Shaking and laughing come hand-in-hand, both acting as inner ‘vibrational medicine’, which can be accessed by anybody, any time. Ratu often refers to it as a form of Pranayama (an energy breathwork), which is compatible with and empowering any other form of exercise, including Tai Chi and/or Hatha Yoga. In fact it can take practitioners to a completely new level of experience. Because of its universal nature, Ratu Bagus Shaking Yoga has now reached at least 22 countries world-wide. There are nine groups set up in Ireland at present.

This spiritual practice is like climbing the sacred mountain. It is like doing a marathon. If we focus with our whole being, we feel the strong effects. If we are half way up the mountain, then we face many challenges. We don’t give up – we get to the top. Then we are proud we can overcome anything. We are happy, we can laugh and enjoy life.”
