The Meaning of Karuna

For those who didn’t know, Karuna is the ancient sanskrit language word, and it means Compassion, Empathy and Loving Kindness.

In 1996, we have chosen the name of our Holistic Health Centre to incorporate word Karuna for very obvious to us reasons. Our life path, personal and professional pursuits are guided, motivated and aligned to our best with the very universal principle of compassion.

Without compassion, we would never go as far as we did. Without compassion, we would never attract the opportunities to be of service to other people in need. Without it, we would also lose the chance to learn valuable lessons, served to us through challenging life situations.

Without motivation of compassion and cultivation of Unity Consciousness, there would be not patience and perseverance in our efforts to be of service to anybody and everybody, and thus we would never bother to ‘go an extra mile’ and ‘burn an extra midnight oil’. Without the deeper feeling, empathic perception and understanding of the soul purpose, we would never persist in our healing work for the last 18 years.

The process of expansion to embrace wide and wider circle of life continues as we breathe and may it continue.

May we all benefit from our own personal growth, leading us to a complete knowledge of the Self and a true nature of reality. For us, Compassion is the Master Key, that opens all the doors, which otherwise could remain closed. We believe, Compassion is the Passport to Freedom from all pain and ignorance for those who implement it.
