Community and Environment
In 2001, because of their Community involvement, both Karen and Kris were nominated for an award under Sligo Co. During that time, together with Dr. Don McAuley and Walter Graham, they made three separate presentations to Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal County Councils, concerning this politically sensitive and controversial issue.
